Die Dämmerung ist für mich die ideale Zeit zum fotografieren. Ob Morgengrauen oder Abenddämmerung, die Qualität der Farben und Stimmungen des Lichts sind unvergleichlich. Ich werde diesen besonderen Abend nie vergessen, als ich am Ende einer längeren Wanderung auf einem abgelegenen Plateau im Hinterland von Utah auf diese herrliche Landschaftsstimmung stiess - der markante Felsen im Vordergrund war perfekt für die Komposition des Bildes. Im Hintergrund erstreckten sich die endlosen Weiten dieser wunderschönen Landschaft und die Pastelltöne des Sonnenuntergangs warfen leuchteten über dem Horizont.
Twilight is my favourite time for shooting. Whether dawn or dusk, the quality of the colors and moods of the light is unequalled. I'll never forget this particular evening when, at the end of a long hike on a remote plateau in the Utah backcountry, I came across this gorgeous landscape scene - the prominent rock in the foreground was perfect for the composition of the image I had in mind. In the background, the endless beautiful landscape stretched out before me and the pastel hues of the sunset cast their glow across the horizon.
